Charlotte Elopements is a service of Knight Media Services LLC. This page explains what we collect through charlotteelopements.com and why.
What we collect
- Information you type into the booking form: names, email, phone, preferred date, and notes.
- Basic server logs kept by our host (Netlify) for security and reliability.
- Analytics: we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how people find the site. These tools use cookies; you can block them in your browser settings.
How we use it
Only to respond to your request, schedule and perform your ceremony, complete your marriage license as the law requires, and send payment links and receipts. We don't sell or share your information for advertising.
Who else sees it
Our website host (Netlify) processes form submissions, and Google processes analytics data. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see your full card number. Details on a marriage license become part of the public record kept by the Register of Deeds, as they do for every NC marriage.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for up to three years for tax and records purposes, then deleted. Ask us any time to delete your information sooner where the law allows.
